Azure Courses Retirement from SATV Program Announced
We appreciate your partnership with LRS Education Service and want to pass along Microsoft’s recent announcement to retire its Software Assurance Training Voucher (SATV) program. Based on the multi-year deadlines released, you’ll have only four more months to redeem your training vouchers for Azure classes.
SATV Program Transition Schedule
- February 1, 2020: Azure courses removed from the SATV catalog.
- February 1, 2021: New contracts after this date won’t have any training vouchers assigned and existing contracts won’t receive any additional training vouchers.
- January 1, 2022: Retirement date--last day to redeem training vouchers.
Your SATV Retirement Plan
In this use-it-or-lose-it scenario, we’d hate to see you lose the ability to redeem your vouchers. If you are an existing client using SATV for training, your Account Manager will be contacting you to develop a plan to use your remaining days before the deadline of January 1, 2022.
If you have not used your training vouchers with us in the past, we’d be happy to help you moving forward. Here is a link to scheduled Microsoft Official Courses that are SATV eligible via instructor-led training (in-person or using our virtual technology). Microsoft Official Azure courses will continue to run as scheduled.
As always, we look forward to helping with your IT training goals.
