Updated CCNA Certification

Cisco’s most popular certification, CCNA Routing and Switching, has been updated!

Cisco’s next generation certification offerings will help IT professionals demonstrate that they are ready to design and deploy the best in industry solutions.

Looking to get started and validate your knowledge with a Cisco Certified Network Associate Certification (CCNA)? Join LRS Education Services for the following Fast-track course Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices Accelerated v2.0 (CCNAX) September 26-30, 2016. The class is Guaranteed to Run!

This Accelerated fast-paced class combines the Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 1 (ICND1) and Interconnecting Cisco Networking Devices, Part 2 (ICND2) content in its entirety, but with the content merged into a single course. Overlapping content between ICND1 and ICND2 is eliminated and content is rearranged for the purpose of the course flow.

The CCNAX course maps to the new updated 200-125 CCNA exam.

Key Certification updates include:

  • Awareness of Programmable Network (SDN) architectures and the separation of control plane and data plane
  • Expanded VPN topics to include DMVPN, Site-to-Site VPN, and Client VPN technologies
  • Increased focus on IPv6 routing protocols, configuration, and knowledge
  • Understanding of Cloud resources deployed in Enterprise network architectures
  • Knowledge of QoS concepts. Including marking, shaping, and policing mechanisms to manage congestion of various types of traffic
