Date: Tuesday, October 24, 2023
Time: 11 a.m. - 12 noon Central Daylight Time
Host: LRS Education Services
Presenter: Troy Stoneking, Certified NIST Cybersecurity Framework Professional Trainer
Since 2013 the NIST Cybersecurity Framework has been used as an effective method for improving cybersecurity programs by public and private entities in the United States and around the world. Although the current version from 2017 is still valuable, threats and technologies have changed considerably. In response, NIST recently released the Initial Public Draft (IPD) of the newest update to the NIST Cybersecurity Framework, version 2.0! Just in time for Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we want to help you learn all about it. In this webinar we will take you on a tour of the NIST CSF version 2.0 draft, get you up to speed on the most significant differences from the 1.1 version, and show you several critical new features. The NIST CSF is changing, and we don’t want you to be left behind!
This webinar is designed for individuals who have experience with the current version of the NIST CSF and want to see what’s new, or those who aren’t using the NIST CSF and want to know what is up and coming. If you are directly involved in the planning, design, creation, implementation, and/or improvement of a cybersecurity program that will follow the principles of the NIST Cybersecurity Framework (NCSF), then this webinar is for you! This includes cybersecurity leaders such as CIOs, CISOs, IT directors, and IT managers, as well as cybersecurity and IT staff.
