While we all can agree that “Windows Server 2003 End of Life” does not mean that servers throughout the world will crash on July 14, 2015…it certainly does mean that Microsoft will no longer patch or support Windows Server 2003 after that date. New threats won’t be addressed and your WS2003 systems will become a security risk and compliance issue for your company.
As an IT Professional…what are you doing during the next 6 months to help your organization transition to Windows Server 2012 to avoid putting your applications and business at risk?
We have seen an increase in attendance in our Windows Server 2012 courses beginning last spring. Our two most popular classes for IT Pros moving to WS2012 are:
MS20410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 and MS20417: Upgrading Your Skills to MCSA Windows Server 2012.
These courses have different audiences…the MS20410 course is the first in a 3-part series of classes that collectively cover implementing, managing, maintaining and provisioning services and infrastructure in a Windows Server 2012 environment.
The MS20417 class explains new features and functionality in Windows Server 2012 and presumes a high level of knowledge about previous Windows Server versions. It is not a product upgrade course, detailing the considerations for migrating and upgrading your specific environment to Windows Server 2012. Rather, this course will update your existing knowledge and skills to Windows Server 2012.
Keep in mind that LRS Education Service continues to offer MCP Exam Vouchers for every Microsoft Official Course that you attend with us. That means that you can validate the skills that you receive in class at no additional cost to you…and show your readiness to your organization.
Let me know if I can help you determine which course direction is best for you and how we can help you gain the knowledge you need to support a Windows Server 2012 environment.
