S2K20480-1 - Transitioning to JavaScript

Having trouble making heads and tails out of JavaScript? This one day course will show you how JavaScript is different from other languages that use the familiar curly-brace syntax. You will learn how to avoid common problems with JavaScript syntax. You will also learn how to implement object-oriented JavaScript with inheritance. You will learn how to implement encapsulation in a language that does not have access modifiers like public and private. Finally, you will see how JavaScript can interact with elements on an HTML page.

Prerequisites


12 Months or more of experience with an Object-Oriented language that uses curly-brace syntax such as C#, Java or C++.
