Why Virtual Training?

Virtual Training allows students to participate in a traditional instructor-led training course without actually sitting in a classroom. Remote students receive the same course materials, hands-on labs and instructor presentations. Learners can listen to and see the instructor, see the presentation, hear other students’ questions or ask their own and participate as if they were sitting in the classroom with the instructor.

Can Virtual Training Save Time and Money?

Virtual training offers all of the benefits of being in an LRS Education Services training facility classroom, but allows a student to be anywhere in the world where there is a computer and an internet connection. There can be significant cost savings in terms of transportation and lodging when students don’t have to travel for training.

Will this be a Quality Learning Experience?

Virtual offerings have a maximum limit on the number of students per class just like traditional instructor-led classes in order to maintain the integrity and quality of our classes. By limiting the instructor/student ratio, we can better accommodate the needs of everyone in a particular class.

Icons on the screen display are easy to access and they allow you to raise your hand, ask the instructor to speed up or slow down, and interact privately or publicly with fellow students and the instructor. When the same information is provided by the same instructor through the same channels, students generally have a more positive shared learning experience.

How Does Virtual Training Work?

All a virtual student needs is access to a computer that has a high-speed internet connection and two devices. Once you’re registered for a virtual class, we’ll send you the course material and a headset that allows you to fully participate and interact with the other students and instructor. You’ll also receive detailed instructions, including a small client download, for how to connect to the class. An LRS Education Services staff member can also help via phone to get you set up for your class.
